Candlelight is my preferred lighting
Décor to set the mood
It’s the first cold and rainy fall day (it’s currently 48°), and I’m digging through my saved folders in search of some cozy and comforting interiors.
Today’s the perfect day to get a fire going, light a couple candles, and rot the rest of the day away on the couch. I adore candlelight in all forms—pillars, tapers, tea lights… all. of. it. I thought I would pull a few of my favorite saved photos and source similar candle décor.
GLASS + SILVER HURRICANE
The hurricane on the mantle is the star of this room for me. Williams Sonoma has a very similar silhouette that’s available in two sizes and it’s on sale. I’m debating between which size I want for myself.
GLASS CLOCHE
Love the vintage apothecary vibes of a glass cloche. This one comes with a matching glass plate.
CANDLE TRAY
It looks like the cloche in the inspo photo is sitting on a metal tray. How about a sleek marble tray?
SCALLOPED CANDLE TRAY
I flip flop between adoring scalloped details and thinking they’re overdone. In this particular case: I adore it.

This is too cute for me to handle it.

If you’re into the wiggle/wavy look, but don’t want color, this iron version is on sale for $15.
RED WOOD CANDLE HOLDER
I firmly believe that every home needs a bit of red. This is a small and easy way to do it!

Super chic and (sadly) super expensive… which is why I’m linking a similar olive green version below.

SPICED CHESTNUT CANDLE
The inspiration photo above features a Trudon candle. My scented candle pick for fall is Spiced Chestnut from Williams Sonoma. It’s warm, spicy, but not sweet like most gourmand scents. I’m also a big fan of the frosted glass vessel.
MARBLE PEDESTALS
I’d get the largest one to put this candle vignette together!
